Kindly Light Cottage - Amble

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! The value for money was fantastic, and the room was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and lovely linen. The location was perfect, with shops, restaurants, and the harbor just a few steps away. The staff were great and made us feel right at home with their thoughtful touches and warm hospitality.

Breakfast items could have been more diverse.

The cottage had a lovely vibe and was very comfortable and well set out. The outdoor space at the back was a sun trap, and we enjoyed the welcome pack and little extras that made it extremely welcoming and cosy. The owners were great, contacting us about local events and answering our questions promptly. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily walk into town and visit the surrounding areas. We will definitely stay again!

We got excellent value for our money at Kindly Light Cottage. The room was clean, decorated beautifully with comfortable beds and lovely linen. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the high street, marina, and coast path. The staff were great hosts, making us feel welcomed and providing us with a generous goodies basket and local event information.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, perhaps offering a wider variety of options.

It was great to have plenty of good restaurants within easy reach, and the town itself was very picturesque. the outdoor space at the back of the cottage was lovely, a sun trap where you could relax and enjoy the sunshine. the owners also provided a welcome pack and lots of little extras to make the stay even more welcoming and cozy.

The weather wasn't ideal, but at least it was dry enough to get out and explore the surroundings.

I keep coming back to my favorite place in Amble. They always make me feel welcome. The staff helped my old parents with a sweet attitude. It has everything I need, from free Wi-Fi to beach access. Can't wait to go back for Christmas!

I stay at this lovely place every time I visit. Amazing staff. They returned my forgotten shower bag on my first stay. Free Wi-Fi, off-site parking, a dryer, and an electric kettle, it has everything I need. Can't wait to come back for my next trip.

The towels were like fluffy clouds, so I didn't feel like I was drying myself with a cactus.

Shame I couldn't fit my car on the front, but who needs a car when I can just fly to the airport next door?
